Complete scenic desert mountain drive from Las Vegas to Death Valley National Park. We begin on I-15 near the Las Vegas Strip, and head south to Nevada Route 160 (Blue Diamond Rd. We head west through Mountain Springs, Nevada and over to Pahrump, Nevada. From there we head west on Bell Vista Ave through Amargosa Valley, Nevada and into California, where we meet up with California Route 190 in Death Valley Junction, California and head west to Death Valley National Park. Our video ends at Badwater Road in Furnace Creek, California in Death Valley. This entire scenic drive is playing in normal speed. There are a few long lonely stretches of road through the desert along the way, you can set the video to play faster or slower in the video settings on most devices or see the chapter shortcuts below to skip to the sections you want to see

Glad to see that you went in and out for a tasty burger to fuel up for the trip.
I confess I was a little nervous at first that you might be taking 15 to Baker and then up that way. Then I remembered that you'd just get off at Blue Diamond. I usually go through Pahrump and on to Bell Vista like you did, but if I have lots of time I'll take the Old Spanish Trail to Shoshone, then up through the park entrance and up the length of Badwater Basin Road. It's a longer trip, but with some spectacular scenery of its own.
All in all, a beautiful and very enjoyable video.

I've been to Death Valley N. P. three times all starting from Las Vegas. The first time I stayed in a hotel in Beaty, Nevada so I entered the park from there which is also a beautiful drive. The last two times I took the route featured on this video. I remember pulling over after just entering the park and being amazed at the almost absolute silence. The stark beauty and huge open spaces of that desert are amazing. Thanks for the video.

Hi, beautiful video, and having just returned from Pahrump, Death Valley and many other places in that stunning region I'm just loving this. One thing though, was this shot this year as gas prices can be seen at around $3. 99 or so. When I was there in April they were well over $4. 50 even in NV.

Very interesting how the traffic fast decreases after leaving Las Vegas. I am planning also a trip to West USA, it will be this year in September, can't wait to be there, your videos are helping me a lot in planning the route, thanks a lot, greetings from a roadtripper from Germany!

I drove this route many times when I worked in Vegas in the 1980s. Pahrump to Vegas and back again. 5 days a week. That's when you could afford Gas. And I visited Death Valley whenever I had a chance. Amargosa Valley in particular with the springs and wetlands. Beautiful place!

Hi, I really like your videos, it's always a pleasure come back to see the roads where I travelled in my American vacations. I got a curiosity; where can I find a list with all the devices (cameras, camera supports etc) that you use for your videos Thank you!

If The Department Of The Interior does not Implement a plan to divert water into the Powell/Mead complex, I think the Southwest is gonna have a severe problem in the very near future.

This is a video that clearly shows the vastness of the Americas. My hobby is driving, but Japan has a small land area, so my dream is to drive on a country road in the United States.

I do this drive several times a year, but here I am watching it in real time. I live on the north side of town so I take 95 all the way up instead of cutting through Pahrump.

It looks way too hot for the person I saw riding a bike. I think I saw someone walking as well. Scary.
