Why is it that there are so so so many places like this
When I started watching this videos, at first I thought that he was doing it in abandoned ghost towns, closed for demolition or somethingbut rhe more I watched the more variety and sizes of towns, some better than others, I also thought he was just doing the very worst of the worst two streets in each place, but I have seen him going through downtown areas, and parts of the same town that arent as bad, but every place he has shown ( i know big cities & wealthy developed places are everywhere too) all this places carry the same desolation, I mean, rural Canada isn’t much better, but unless is an abandon town, you don’t see this kind of neglect on basic infrastructure like roads, electric poles, garbage collection, we do have some places but not as many as I have seen so far. whats going on

The de industrialisation of the USA was predictable, & the swathes of abandoned towns etc, also predictable. The USA is a dying empire. Sadly you have no manufacturing left, oh apart from weapons which I think is the 3/4 highest export(which is really tragic for the rest of us, dwelling on this planet)Your country has always had a war on the poor, & in many ways I wish Columbus had either sunk, or sailed on by. That said you still make some of the best music, art, literature etc, but as an e comic & social system to emulate, no thanks. Oh & that policeman of the world thing, please loose it!

I had been misleading by the America media and Hollywood about the superiority of America living standards and human rights, now I wake up and aware that America is not what the media portrait as the riches country in the world,
I am now enjoying every minute of what I see the real America, it is the best entertainment than watching Hollywood movie,

I am shocked at the abandonment and destruction of small all the way up to large cities. add the American homeless and the invasion of illegal aliens into the US. astonished! the lies we are told by elected and non elected officials is criminal. the economy is good and thriving is a fairytale told by criminals. this is the result of nafta from Clinton.

Greetings from a small northern village in Iceland called Saudarkrokur (Sheep's hook river. Although it (downtown) does look deserted but it is clean and no homeless along the streets unlike big rich states and cities. I would rather rather stay here and start something. People should look into.

Im from Picayune Ms. But ive spent time in Greenwood. Also in Magee. And in Tupelo. Its amazing to me how different these areas are from each other. The demeanor of the towns and the demeanor of the people in them are light years apart. I think we struggle all across the state though.

It would be nice if you had explained what highways you were driving on. It looks like you were just picking the most random streets to drive on. I was born and raised in the Mississippi Delta and recognized where you were but others watching probably had no clue!

The other thing about these videos is I have been watching a number of these for two weeks or more and I think I have maybe seen only 3 people roaming around or getting in or out of their car the whole time. Crazy.

My maternal family is from the delta. There is so much history that is worth knowing BEFORE you drive through. We still have family there. Extraordinary, smart, hard working people.
