Misconception that Mexican food is unhealthy and not very vegan friendly. guys, please educate yourselves before making broad statements such as this. US white Americans have made their version of Mexican food unhealthy with loads of cheese and grease on everything. As a Mexican-American vegan who has studied food history, let me correct you in saying that 80% of what a vegan eats is not only food with origins in Mexico but is literally the Aztec diet. corn, beans, squash (zucchini, pumpkin and all others, chiles, peanuts, tomatoes, cilantro, avocado, chia seeds. The other 20% include a large majority of foods with origins in the Americas, including quinoa, cashews, potatoes and many fruits. I like your videos but stuff like this really chaps my hide as it spreads misinformation and creates negative stereotypes.

Great video. I enjoyed it enormously. I am a native from Mexico City but live in Guadalajara now. After watching the video I could not help feeling homesick. There are so many new cool places now in Mexico City, that I am starting to feel envious. By the way, around the mid 1800s, all the Condesa neighborhood was owned by a Spanish Countess. For that reason now a days that part of the city is known simply as la Condesa (the Countess.

It is horrible to see this vid today that almost to the day one year after we are in 2017 and another big earthquake happened that has destroyed a lot in this part of the city, just like the one in 1985 did. BTW, the one in '85 happened Sept 19th, the one yesterday 32 years later to the exact day, that is a freaky fact. I hope everyone around here is well and we can hope to rebuild everything soon and help out the ones in need.

I know most people expect to find tequila, cactus, and mariachis in every corner. Thank You, V-Bros Great job of capturing the vibe of Roma Norte I lived there, and La Condesa in 2014. I now live in Philly, and I feel like crying half the time - I miss it SO Much I have spent a lot of time in Europe, and with the exception of Lisbon, I cannot think of ANY City I love more than CDMX I am pretty sure I will go back to live there again - ASAP

Yo vivia en la colonia roma por cuatro anos y me encanta Tambien, me encanta la condesa y es mas bonita porque tiene mas arboles y edificios del estilo art deco. Pero la gente de la roma es mucho menos mamon y arrogante. De todos, me encantan las dos. Quiero comprar una casa alla un dia
