But, it's a known fact that Trinidad and Tobago's Carnival is the best in the world. Attend one and you will see. Carnival isn't just the street parade like in other countries. It's a season lasting almost two months consisting of many competitions, parties and other events.

I live in New Orleans. My top three carnival tips would be. 1 keep your wallet in your front pocket. 2 use the restroom before you leave your room, restaurant, bar or any other place that has one. restroom are in possible to find this time of the year. and 3 be nice, there's a few hundred thousand of my closest friends in town.

Great video But Brazilian people don't speak spanish, they speak Portuguese instead. Rio de Janeiro was pronounced like it was Spanish. In Portuguese the R in the beginning of words is like a very soft H in English. Also, the sound of J in Janeiro is like the sound of S in the word vision or like the French J.

I totally forgot it was mardi gras thanks for the reminder. I'm gonna go to work in costume tomorrow I'm sure my clients will love it. oh wait I am a consultant and I work in a super farty professional environment. That might not fly. Oh well, you never know unless you try. Unemployment here I come

It's pronounced ta bay go and it's called a steel pan also they dance like the Bajans but better (wine) they have soca from here and the costumes are amazing also old time carnival was from the slaves and had different costumes they came up with from mimicking their masters

hey guys, you did not mention one of the largest carnivals in Europe, i think second largest only to Venice, the one in Rijeka, Croatia Also I suggest you visit Croatia on one of your travels, it's a beautifull mediteranian country, with lots of culture and history.
