As a tourism spot for vacations is a good idea. People of Udaipur are polite and kind, but if you stay there for work purposes like I did. They can be very old fashioned, women bully women. Such as cannot go into a temple during your periods, cover your neck even if you are wearing a tee, men seem to own women and the only job for women is to sit at home. The location where I worked, there were over 300 men and 50 women.

Hi Vagabrothers, If people taking selfies with you, I understand looks uncomfortable for you. But its like, people who approach you for the snaps they are according to my observation from poor families. If they ever had seen anybody apart from Indian may be on the TVs. So when they see say Europeans like you guys, they feel compelled themselves clicking them with you guys. They do so, in just the act of curiosity.

It is funny how most tourists use the word Tuk Tuk for autos in India. Ha haAuto rickshaw or auto as the locals call it in India. 'Tuk tuk' the word is used probably mostly in the lovely Thailand and other lovely countries in South East Asia. Udaipur is beautiful. Nice video you guys

Those designer intricate screens ( jalis ) on the windows in Udaipur palace have very specific architecture purpose. Rajasthan have a hot dry climate so when the wind passes through these screens becomes cooler thus creating pleasent environment inside the palace.

I Miss Udaipur I used to live in udaipur but due to some issues i had to live in jodhpur (Jodhpur is not bad but, i dont like it either) Lived in, hiran magri and studied there in central academy, my old house adress is 9 kha 11

superb video, thank you so much. just one thing though, please do not call it as tuk tuk. No one in India says tuk tuk, its a word from Thailand. In India, its only called as 'Auto Rickshaw' or just 'Rickshaw'. Not a Tuk Tuk.
