The TopGear crew took this pretty seriously but their car encountered a lot of problems before and throughout the race (Sometimes it was driver error, too. They were in one of the slowest classes, so not really going for overall honors but anything is possible in Endurance racing.

Well, a lot of the drivers will have more than 3 suits just because after they're done with their stints, they are pretty much a bucket of sweat. In Chris' case, he probably had different looking suits.

What about May? -
Besides they didn't do to badly. 3rd in class isn't that bad. Considering you have James May on your team. Clarkson wasn't aweful either. In truth you are being just a tad harsh.
