He says the Indian company makes an off-road car called the Gurker. It's actually called Gurkha and it's made by a company called 'Force'. Force assembles Merc engines in India and they have nothing to do with jaguar. It's Tata that owns Jaguar.
Be that as it may, I believe Chris Harris is the best reviewer today. Unbiased, honest and to the point. No cocking about. Just what the industry needs.

i'm american, and i think british cars are at their best right now. i think about it, and there isn't one bad british car out there right now, with the exception of perhaps the freelander 2 which is nowhere near as good as the audi q5.
i'm praying that they'll make a small sedan to compete with the 3 series but with the interior and styling of the XF. they'd have my money tomorrow.

-greeklegend1 Or passion. Jaguar has so much more heritage and performance behind it. Lexus is nice but its not up to that pedigree IMO. They are well built appliances like Toyota's. I don't care if its not as good as the 5 series. Its different and its a Jag.

I make body pannels for the jaguar xf and xk for a living at a place called Stadco. Chances are I welded the wheelarch parts! Ironically though I drive a lexus IS. The works car park is full of company XFs. Nice cars.

He is talking through his a-se. How the hell does it look like Lexus? It's like saying the Aston Martin looks like a Honda. Ha ha. He definitely has some recognition problem and know FA about design.

This car will definitely turn heads, whereas it's german rivals from Audi and BMW are just too bland and obvious. I experienced this firsthand, i saw a black XF and my jaw almost dropped.

Just had a look at the Jag website, unfortunately youre right. (I just dont like flappy paddle shift)Puts me right off the car, hopefully they will eventually release a proper manual.
