It's not about how much power you have, it's how much you can use. On public roads you can not use anywhere near all of the Ferrari's power, however in the GT86 you can. I was lucky enough to own a Ferrari F430 for a year, which was a dream come true. Awesome experience that felt special to drive. When I sold it I bought a Lotus Elise R which had less than half the power of the 430 but also less than half the weight. On the road it was more fun to drive than the Ferrari. So the cars in the vid equate to the same comparison.

For me if i have 240, 000 dollars, to choose which i will buy, i will still choose gt 86 just cost only 25k, and i will modified it to be same as fast like ferrari f12, and i have still a lot of money, to buy a house, another cars, and business that i will make more money for that, so i have completely package for myself for 240, 000 instead for buying a overpriced ferrari that will be depreciate the value after you buy it. wiser choice

Absolutely good comparison. I'm actually comparing the 2022 GR86 to the 2019 Corvette C7 Z06 or Porsche Cayman S. Most people can not figure out what I'm talking about. If you are not in competition for fastest lap time at the local track event and considering the cars balance, cost of tires, cost of brake pads, cost of insurance and cost of car. The Toyota GR86 looks dang good.

Yeah true everyday l cant wait to drive so fun its gorgeous an lm 47 l seen a 70 year old lady the other week driving an 86 an she brought it for her 70th birthday go girl everyone any age if u live driving even if u dont u will want to drive this 86 l love it best thing thats every happened to me my 1st brand new car what a choice an l thought l made a mistake lol

Eh, no, it's not a valid comparison at all.
And it's a waste of time to be fair.
One car is vastly more expensive, more powerful, faster, more refined, handles better, looks better and will get you far much more attention.
The other car is a Toyota.

I love both companies and even their models this bertllina is also my fav both of them even the gt86
All cars I included in my mind and companies I tried not to hate it much.
But I cannot take other car companies making models like mitsubishi cancelled their evo's
But I would not hate it again though.

Ive done a good number of track days with my 86, and youd be surprised how damn fast it can be on track when you have a very good set of tires. Obviously since it doesnt have the straight line speed, you have to learn how to basically drive full throttle through the corners.

I have an s2000 and I've drivin silly gt86's. I'd take the Ferrari in ANY country in ANY situation all day every day. You can try and justify it -but the Toyota is a driver's car, you can drive it to it's full potential! - No, just no. Ferrari. FERRARI.

Why do they compare normal sports cars with supercars? Supercars are called -supercars- for a reason. You can buy a GT86 but you won't feel the passion and the flair of a Ferrari. It must be awesome to hear and feel 740 bhp while driving!

The ferrari has to be more fun. But if you spend an extra 10k to turbo the 86, I don't know if you'd find it that much more fun to spend multiple times more money if you buy the Ferrari.
