'Super' Bike's even road going will do pretty much any car off the line because of their superior power weight advantage. Things switch round as soon as the car's superior aerodynamics figure into the equation over about 120. Bikes for all their rear wheel power are not very slippery through the air once they are going at speed, car's on the other hand have a lot of mass to push before they start rolling. That GTR has 1200bhp and weighs a shade under 2 tons, so its got roughly 600bhp/ton, the bike weighs a shade under 0. 2 of a ton and has 205 bhp which means scaled up for a power per ton comparison the bike is closer to 1000bhp/ton in power, so its not really a surprise the ZX goes off the line like a rocket in comparison to the very powerful GTR.

Unless you have ridden a full blown superbike you cannot really get your head round just how mind blowing the acceleration is. These days being an overweight mid fifty something duffer suffering from the after effects of too many bike accidents when I was younger, ride a BMW R1200 and it's not by any means a sports bike or particularly powerful for its engine size producing about 120bhp, but its still more than powerful enough to go from zero to sixty in around 3 seconds with my fat arse on the seat.

To be fair it wasn't a 1200hp GTR in the race, it was probably more like 1000hp since it was on the 1. 5bar map. but i don't buy the all 4 wheels spinning in 3rd and 4th, with only 1000hp, seems like a red herring, also the launch was shockingly bad for a 4 wheel drive. perhaps Mr. Litchfield is just no good at racing

The bike was running slicks that were pre warmed and the car had street tires, hum, wounder who would win? Let try that again at Nuremberg, we would still be waiting for the bike to post!

Anyone can drive the tuned GTR in a straight line.
But to do what that motorcycle rider did in that run, you need years of racing experience, pure skills, and balls of titanium.

hi
If the race was half a mile longer that would have been a different story says the biker.
Bike fans: let's pretend we didn't hear those words

Well you could of actually showed the race without interrupting it with the tech talk and boring slow mos. People like real footage
