The 488 GTB is quicker than McLaren 675LT. Both did a 1: 12. 8 but 488 was couple 1/100 sec quicker I guess and I don't think the 675LT spider will come close to the 488. Also according to his impression, I'd think 488 might win Britain's Best driver's car for the second year. Fantastic car! He is right, the chassis is so adjustable. The vehicle dynamic engineering is so quick and dynamical with the quick steering response, SSC that cooperate with SCM damping control and a torque control mapping that won't overwhelm the handling dynamic in all gears.

Spot on video Steve. Your reviews are top drawer!
Drove this back to back with the 458 italia in Maranello earlier this year. I couldn't believe how absolutely quick this car is. In a blink of an eye I was at 155kph (90mph) Suspension is just soft enough for long trips and the exhaust note is okay. Would love to own this gorgeous Ferrari but the McLaren 570GT seems a more affordable option for me. It's just as stunning to look at, almost as quick with a nicer exhaust note and appears a more comfortable environment.

Some great insights here. Terrific review! If Ferrari and hadn't exaggerated the 458's performance I think we'd all be in awe of the 488. The trouble is, on paper it's only a bit faster. In reality is massively faster. McLaren forced Ferrari's hand. But how is it possible to make 660bhp friendly on the limit? Is this only with the electronics on? Or is it still like a GT86 with everything set to 'off'?

-straight out of the box-, lol is this a joke! Tell us more about how awesome on the track your 488 feels, which a 100bhp more, and race brakes and suspensions, that a standard 488 would not have.
I hope that Ferrari is paying you a lot of money to make a scam review like this. There used to be a time when car journalists had morals, and were actually car people.

Ferrari is thoroughly a few steps above the rest. Just give it allready first place again and instead try to see which one of the rest is going to be second and third.
