Strange that other motoring publications are saying it's a light quadricycle when the specs indicate it's a heavy as Autocar states here. This doesn't tie-in with UK licence requirements and works better on the continent. The Twizzy was better in that respect. For it to succeed in the UK, I reckon it needs at least a 40mph top-speed. You can't filter in it, can't use the bus-lanes that motorcycles sometimes can, and parking is still an issue. An electric bicycle or a Honda PCX type scooter offers far more urban usability.
However I do like the simplicity and direct selling model though. In the last couple of years, UK mobile phone networks have been taking the 'customer experience' fully in-house and away from resellers like CarPhoneWarehouse. I can see the same happening at the cheaper end of the electric vehicle industry. The simplicity of the electric motor combined with super-basic mechanicals throughout will mean a much reduced role for spivvy car dealers and clueless grease-monkeys in basic EVs going forwards. Despite creating an image of having cleaned up their act, car dealers and their service departments are still the most dishonest industry I can think of. they make bankers seem honest.

Quadracycle. It's a car! A cheap, cheesy, underpowered, plastic crappy useless car. In most cases you'd have to run it flat out to keep up with traffic which will no doubt reduce it's range. And do we know how long the batteries will last and how much it would cost to replace them?
I've seen other reviews of this thing and though people seem to like it, I feel it needs some upgrades before it would be practical for any kind of use - such as increased power for speed, hills and range. A second windshield wiper, a better heater and window defogger and most definitely a better location for the charging cable. THEN maybe it would be worth the 6K price. If Citroen made these improvements, and it came to States, I would look at them. Otherwise, no thanks.

The engineers of Citroen have put all their experience in this and I am almost certain the competition will not be able to deliver much cheaper with the same quality. Good electric bikes also all cost more or less the same I see.

24 seconds in, I want one. This would be great for piddling around town and painting a wacky colour. As long as I can get the heater to pre-heat the cabin and install some kind of sound system consider my purchase final Citroen!

I really like this car. It's a cooler version of the smart car from years ago because its totally green. This could be the answer for many of us. It does have the potential to change to world. Genius!

Slow steering, hard seats, uninspiring suspensions make it driving like a box. No luggage space and you have to leave the door open while charging. At least it moves.

I would be keen on a -Bon Ami- - my idea for an electric Citroen, 50% larger than the Ami, 75% more battery capacity & a top speed 60mph for UK urban travel.
