Porsche 911 GT3 RS review: 518bhp track monster driven

The Porsche 911 GT3 RS has always been a benchmark setter. One thing has certainly been true of the five previous GT3 RS generations (not counting the mid-life updates) - they ve all been true class leaders. In every case, contemporary rivals from Ferrari, Lamborghini and everyone else wouldn t see which way the flat-six beasts went on a racetrack, thanks to powerful engines, low weight figures and enough aerodynamic features to make a fighter pilot jealous. But now, there s a new one. Porsche says that this car is the most track-focused GT3 RS ever, and at a glance that certainly seems to be the case - there are few road cars with wings as extreme as this. It s also the only road car aside from the McLaren P1 to feature a DRS system, something normally reserved purely for F1 cars.

This roadtester was clearly totally overwhelmed by the RS. His speeds were so slow that he could not possibly feel the benefit of the aero. His review was BS, worthless and in some regards factually incorrect.

This guys trying to sound like Henry Catchpole, but he's just achieving boring. Shame cos this video should be perfection, given the significance of the 992 gt3 RS

Wanted to watch someone else review it. This guy is boring. Watch the Evo Magazine review and Collecting Cars review from Chris Harris.

So you had the opportunity to drive the new RS and that is the result? Worst video ever of one of the best cars ever!
