I-ve owned a 2013 Volvo S60 R-Design for 6 months and it-s brilliant, I think I-ve only seen 2 other mk2 S60 on the road of any variant since, but I can-t say the same about the countless A4-s and 3 Series.
Having driven several 3 Series and A4-s, I find the steering in the 3 Series is hard work and not enjoyable, they also date and rust quickly, and on the other hand the A4-s steering is light as a feather which is nice, but they-re so dull and uninteresting.
The S60 is the best all round; most reliable, comfort, stylish, dates slower and safest.

I drive volvos like this S60 dayly so let me tell you, the steering is not engaging, its as numb as you can get and then you got over sensitive throttlepedal, they made this so you would think you got plenty of power although you push it 25% but if you floor it yopu noticed you already used 95% of the power. lastly, it is very expensive compared to the german cars witch are innevitly better.

Even in the game Gran Turismo I preferred driving the 3series because of how it handles and it was fun to drive I thought this wouldn't be relevant because this is in the virtual world until I found out Gran Turismo doesn't just brings the BMW 3-Series to the game it also brings the handling and performance of the car no wonder the 3series was my favorite

strange because i sold my e91 3 series touring 320d m sport for a v60d3 r design, so basically the exact same comparison as here. The volvo is better looking, better built, better interior materials, quieter, more refined, and has better handling. The three series has more feel but its just plain annoying in normal driving conditions.

Like always liking the heels of the German manufacturers. Get into that model bmw and v60 now, 7 years later and the quality difference is huge. Is the bmw more driver engaging? Yes it absolutely is the best driver's car of the 3. But that's not wat the video was about now, was it. Otherwise also the audi wasn't is place there.

Many reviewers will give driving dynamic capabilities to the S60 over the Audi A4. And while none will give the driving dynamic award to anyone but the BMW 3-series, some will say 95% of the driving dynamics for 90% of the cost for the S60. And the S60 doesn't have the bloated price tag of any of the German models.

Got a 2011 S60 T6 AWD R-Design with the Polestar software package, newer owned a BMW or Audi. But have driven them, its a matter of choice just nice to see the faces of the bigger brand BMW'S and boy racers trying to keep up with a sleeper. Buy the way if you crash at 200 + km/h no matter what you drive your dead!

If you are preoccupied by how your car looks then pick the one you like. Personally I don't like s60 dashboard. Form outside it looks slightly better than the other ones. Bmw is definitely more fun to drive, although the other cars are not bad at all, the interior and the dashboard are nice as well.

i have never rated this guy, the volvo is better looking, more equipped, better rust proofing, safer, more stylish inside, different, more refined engine etc etc. Yet you know what i dont care that the a lot of people think the bmw or audi is top, that only makes the volvo better and more desirable.

The Volvo is the best, looks are stunning both inside and out, drives so well, lovely handling, just look for any excuse to jump into my Volvo and drive off. Just sitting in the car is a real pleasure, better than both BMW and Audi.
