i'm sorry, this comparison is just wrong. I haven't seen an e46 or e90 m3 on the streets in years. All broke down? Well, that's no issue for NA petrol engines. Haven't seen the video yet, but i can bet the M3 is faster in every way. It's also faster to break down. So my conclusion is, the RC F will be faster in the long run.

I have an RCF, pretty quick, but you definitely want a little more end torque, which an exhaust/headers/tune will give you. M4 is more of a drivers car, like you can wreck a lot easier if you aren't really good. The RCF is such a nice daily driver for me, would pick it over the M4 almost any day of the week.

i feel as if this was a biased test due to the fact that he drove the bmw harder because it is easier to drive. if a real driver was behind the wheel of the lexus it wouldve posted a better time. not saying it would beat it but 4 seconds is indicative of nervous hold backish driving.

I bought an RC F because the BMW M4 interior was cheap imo. Plus in the UK at least BMWs are so common and I'd say the M4 is the most common sports coupe. Especially because of the PCP finance deals. It just looks like a normal BMW with twin exhausts and a bonnet bump.

Lets be honest, the M4 beats the Lexus no doughts. One thing that makes me really sad is the fact that naturally aspirated engines are getting older, part of the plesure of driving will be lost.

To be fare, the RC F was killed on the long straight because of the M4's turbos, so that doesn't quite tell the story here. But I do hope that Lexus will make a lighter next gen car.

The Lexus RCF is lighter, faster, cheaper upfront AND in the long run, more agile, arguably better looking, and has far far superior reliability and has v8 5. 0 engine. !
