New VW Tiguan review: the crossover SUV just got more capable

The thing that's most concerning is the price. Is it a premium vehicle with world class materials? Yes it is, absolutely no doubt about that. But when i did the comparison between a highline Tiguan with similar selected options as in My 2016 Hyundai Tuscon i came in at a difference of approximately 12. 000 Euro's! Does the Tiguan offer some more versatility, options and class? Yes it does. Does that warrant the huge price difference for the same vehicle with the same options and performance in the same class? It does not. Even though this Tiguan is a great looking, comfortable, quality ride. It just doesn't warrant the huge price difference. You could argue that the price difference would be minimal in the Trendline or comfortline setting, but how boring do they look then? Exactly. I took the Premium plus package on the new Tucson and i'm more then happy with the overall comfort, quality and ride for the price, and lastly the price.

This vehicle looks like some SsangSyong designer made him! previous generation looks much better from outside while this looks like some bigger box on 4 wheels! i dont see some point for buying this car over BMW x1 which costs almost same or some 5-10% more with similar equipment and engines but performance, outside look, and anything others + after all BMW is BMW is worth that 5-10% price difference

What they don't tell you.
I am an owner of a 1. 4 tsi.
After barely 5000km ( no typo ) my engine starts shaking when running idle.
While I find it self-evident that an engine runs smoothly, VW disagree
and refuses to fix the problem, even when the car is still under
warranty. I'm shocked.

Really like the way the video was shot and edited. It seems like an ad, yes. But perhaps the car is actually worth the praise. You can imagine VW is pulling out all the stops to repair their brand equity.

Great review. All the information and views I need and nothing I don't presented very professionally. My wife test drove this exact vehicle and color and she loved it. Now she isn't looking at anything else.

What a turd. I will never own another VW again in my life! My wife's 11 passat was the biggest piece of garbage I've ever encountered.
