Vauxhall Corsa-e review - can this small electric car charge to the top of the class? TC81: A ridiculously negative review by the negative tone of the reviewer. I've driven the Corsa e. There are zero -problems- with interior quality. It doesn't rattle, it doesn't break. It's a bit scratchy but generally it's on an overall par with the class leaders. There isn't a weight problem either. The cars weight is commensurate to carrying a 50kw battery and the boot has to compromise a little to accommodate this as do most cars in this category. The motor is swift so you don't feel the weight when accelerating. The suspension is supple if not sporty but it isn't a problem. The infotainment is the best yet in a Vauxhall and if you do want to compare to the 208e you'll realise that the Pug's glitzy interior is superficially cheap and the driver information screen isn't as functional as the Corsa, despite the 3d effects. As for price, it again is commensurate and because it is a Vauxhall it also receive generous discounts beyond government grants if you do your research and haggle. Try again auto express

Electric vehicles are still expensive, the charging outlet's in my area of Newham (London) is nonexistent, plus living on a terrace road which parking is limited is even tough if you want to charge it overnight away from you home. Combustion engines is still king of the roads!

We test drove the Opel branded version of this car in Spain and we really like it. It's more roomy than we expected and it actually feels less cramped than our BMW E91 (with a snapped timing chain) does. We have one reserved and are going tomorrow to seal the deal.

There is no partnership with Peugeot-Citroen for this -British- brand. You make it sound as if it-s an idependent conpany. There-s divestment from Chinese to PSA Group and the brand is now French owned!

LOL WHY do you care about the -Plastics feeling cheap- in this car what an idiotic review. I know you go out of your way looking for CHEAP PLASTICS around the car to shout about in your videos LOL

Is there no storage space for the electric cables (or anything else) under the front bonnet? What's Vauxhall done with the space that would have taken up by the engine?

I've owned a 2012 Corsa 1. 4 SE for over two years now, and it has never put a foot wrong. The only major work it's had done to it are new front brakes.

Corsa e will be out by ID3. Suggest to cut short the nose to make more room in the cabin and boot. Also improve the cabin quality.

Cool car but the front number plate is doing my head in! Why-s the text offset? Also I-d get the e208 over this. it-s cooler
