I drove the very 1st Beetle RSI in the UK many years ago. Picked it up from a main dealer in Milton Keynes (just outside London) for a friend who was shipping it on. Was the first left hand drive car i'd got in, extraordinarily quick for a VW. My friend was in a 360 Modena and on the motorway i rang him to see if i could see how fast this thing could go. On the 3rd beep (60mph) he floored his Ferrari and only at 130mph did he start to pull away. The one i drove was also silver, had titanium checkerplate door panels and tan leather. Really cool car, would love one now.

Yeah, it's great to hear the engine, but it's a greater feat to keep the noise out of the cabin. While you may want to hear it for a little while, if you own the car and drive it all the time and you are in traffic, you don't want to hear the engine revving, you want to hear your music, or have it quiet, or whatever it is you like in a normal car. If a McLaren can dampen the sound to such a degree, I say they know how to build cars. It's easy to make a car that has little to no sound proofing, much harder to dampen such aggressive exhaust noise.

Supercar Blondie is the only person who has achieved what appeared to be impossible. She made Alejandro not look like a total douchebag. Salomondrin almost looks human and with a soul in this video. Blondie, I am standing up and clapping for you. By the way, the fact that you're not British makes you ten times cooler.

The whistling thing is true. Hispanics communicate across great distances on loading docks, restaurants, etc. by whistling. It's always confusing for me to know if they are trying to get my attention or someone else's. Oddly, it is common that I never do figure it out.

I've been curious to know how tall Supercar Blondie is and amazingly enough my answer comes at me in this video. I just assumed she was pretty tall. like 5'10. but wrong. From her own mouth. she says 5'7.
