I'm in California, the home of the original beach buggy, where I get to try out this new concept beach buggy from Volkswagen - the ID Buggy Brody Rufus: This buggy is great looking fun and is the future, etc; but to be honest; I would have kinda liked to see her drive the old school one, with all the cave man mechanicals, real manual transmission with bottom hinged pedals like on early 911s. That really with out question would've been more of a hoot, no? & I hope VW compensated you well for featuring their product Very nice of you. Thanks SuperCarBlondie for your consistently cool enthusiasm for cars, being knowledgeable. Keep up the good work

Its so ugly and missis the point. She said bmw. Ha ha its a vw not a bmw. Shows how bad the review is. Electric and water don't mix. Zaping times ahead. Luck she said vw later on. Or was it the oz accent. Look at that real bug. Vw beetle bug. More with it. Moden stuff sucks. Electric cars are basicly a con. Give me gas and a v8. New bug looks more plastic then plastic. Beach dune buggy. I will build one way way better for way less. Better by miles.

Firstly your cameraman needs improvement in following your cue. Twice you showed the toggle how to select Drive, Neutral or Reverse and both times the camera panned away from your fingers as you demonstrated how it worked. Good concept by VW. however, no mention of production plans. I think that could be a vehicle that Jeep could produce as well.

This project is a very Smart move from VW, in both ways, the dune buggy will take the void created by the lack of solutions like the dune buggy based on VW Beatle, mini moke and citroen mehari, and the option of sell the base to other brands for the development of their electric models, it's a win, win, win situation.

Question? Is it also 4 wheel drive? This is one of my Favorites of all the cars you have covered in your videosHopefully this makes it to productionFor side impact crashes i do believe it needs seats that wrap around your ribsAnd a more extensive roll bar system

Awesome videos great selection of cars that you choose. I'm a big fan of your videos. But one thing I noticed in this video is that you need to upgrade your camera. The video kind of goes off while the part when you are driving the car. thanks and keep posting.

Supercar Blondie, thank you for a great informative video, I have heard about this VW concept Buggy and I appreciate to learn of VW paying it forward with a great electric vehicle solution. I do wish that VW would build Dune Buggies.

I like it I can see it going into production with a detachable light weight quick remove roof, doors, that remove in one piece and folds up for easy storage with the rear hatch back roof being about the same.
