This is the all-new Audi A6. There-s new tech in the cabin, under the bonnet and even for the key - but is it enough to tempt you away from a BMW 5 Series or a Mercedes E-Class? Find out everything you need to know in this Top 10 video

I mean, that's how Audi's always been. Mercedes feel nicer, BMWs drive nicer, Cadillacs combine a good enough amount of the two at a slightly lower price point, Lincolns have pillowy rides with 30s cigar lounge interiors, Lexuses are built like tanks, Jaguars are quirky and have understated class, Alfa Romeo/Maserati/DS focus on high fashion and design, and Audi's are contemporary cutting-edge spaceships. You can't really call any of them inferior/superior, they all have their own purposes and their own target markets.
I promise you nobody buying a Lincoln for the interior and ride quality gives a shit that it's closely related to the Taurus or would ever consider a BMW. This doesn't change Audi's target market or BMW's, it just makes Audi better at what they've specialized in, so BMW or even Infiniti can't have slightly outdated tech but still peel off Audi customers by having as-good or better performance. It's a great Audi, and it really can't be fairly compared to anything else. I'd buy one. A BMW or Mercedes customer probably wouldn't, because they prefer maximum possible performance or maximum possible luxury.

Yawn. A few incremental improvements but basically same-old-same-old, and nothing we haven't already seen elsewhere, including the smartphone unlocking. I'm no Musk fanboy, but Tesla changed the game 6 years ago with the Model S, and not just with the electric drive. A complete rethink of what a car can and should be, and it's still ahead of the game now, despite being overpriced and with questionable quality. At least Jaguar's I-Pace is trying to take the game to the Californians. Come on Audi, you can surely do better than this.

Looks modern. Horrible fake exhausts. Even if you can't fault the quality, the enterior is mainly for showing of. A 5 series is much more functional and it's more ergonomical. I prefer a more conventional interior with phisical controllers for at least the main functions such as climate and volume of the radio. Even Range Rover kept rotating dials in the Velar. I am not a fan of the Audi concept which sacrifices functionality over style

VW endorsed infomercials here, VW desperately using their financial might to try to make the a6 relevant, sad thing is it works. VW sell skoda's to the savvy and shrewd, and audi's to ignorant superficial sheep like people. Same car packaged differently under two brands for two markets. Carwow lacks integrity. I laugh at their reviews. Buying an audi is like buying an M&S shirt with a Ralph Lauren logo stitched on.

Way too much technology. Does any manufacturer make a real car these days!
Why spend thousands extra on tech for bunnies! Can nobody park, stay in lane, do without sat nav that doesn't update after a couple of years.
And making sat nav part of the UK driving test shows how pathetic the country has become.
Perhaps they should teach youngsters how not to cut corners and know when to give way!

I don't get it, for the Q series, they've updated the MMI and put the screen on top of the dash which is more ergonomic and safe. Now they're going full dual touchscreens on the A series like the Acura MDX? Why have two different interfaces esp since it was just updated for the Q series for 2018. A bit scatterbrained here it seems.

i think the car looks stunning, previous models just looked like an over-sized A4, but now it looks more unique and takes more design elements from the A8 and the A7, but what i'm really hyped for will be the new RS6, i hope Audi doesn't match it with a V6 engine, they sound like shit

Hmmm, what can I say? Another exciting design from Audi, they really do work hard those designers. C'mon Audi, try and make a good looking car instead of another 'striking' car. Curves are pleasing on the eye and age well, etch a sketch cars do not.

Sorry, its a turd. Fake exhausts, crappy touch-screen interior controls, exterior looks worse than the outgoing model. About the only positive is that the used value will plummet like a rock so these will be worth little in 3-5 years.

I'm clearly in the minority on this, but in terms of fake exhausts. Meh. I really don't care. It's like freaking out over the fake buttons just above the cuffs on a suit jacket. Sure, they serve no purpose, but, like I said, meh.
