Funny how the alpine has never again been in a carwow drag race ever again after this video probably because it won but some of these cars have been so bias to german cars also now a French car not only won but completely destroyed the germans with supercar like 1/4 time and he still trys to justify the audi loosing- you can just hear it in his voice as the alpine leaves the cars like ah shit this isn't meant to happen this is why Chris Harris is the one for car reviews honest and doesn't waffle and find excuses when a German car looses -

Such a nicely balanced car that Alpine and would be interesting to see how it fares up again the stock A110S
Whilst in there, throw an Elise into the mix (240/250 Cup)
Being begging here for an all lightweight battle and instead we get is 1000+ modded dragster cars vs bikes and F1 cars. OK, I get this is fun to watch too, but how about some 'drivers cars' battle? Hell, you ve got more Hyundai vs Ford battles in here. Surely Alpine/Lotus (+Caterham, Radical, Ariel) deserves some more attention than that!

I am just surprised at the Supra's performance. If BMW would allow the S58, it would easily trade blows with the AMG GT.
It's a Pig here with not much more power than competitors but it's doing well with what it has.

Too bad the big automakers in the USA have effectively blocked importation of smaller manufacturers with their support of unreasonable crash standards. while domestic trucks and SUVs get a free pass.

Kudos to Alpine for putting in a show, their a long way of building anything l would buy thou. Safety-s non negotiable IMHO. The 718 is a well underrated beast with tuning & decent exhaust.
