Let's take a moment to appreciate the analogue dials, physical buttons and the gear knob. I wish manufacturers stop listening to journalistis who are always pushing towards screens. At least for internal combustion engine cars, things should stay analogue and mechanical. I mean I wouldn't mind screens on an electric car.

Like the old Quattroporte Maserati are slower and later to the party than the competition, which is a shame because they make lovely cars and not everyone wants the same car as everyone else, I will never own a modern BMW.
Unfortunately it will be more expensive and less reliable than the competition

Nah man. BMW M5, whichever generation it is, still would be my pick over Ghibli Trofeo or any other non hyper car Maserati, maybe would put Maserati Quattroporte and BMW M5 e61 on par regarding interest, but that's as close as it gets for me.

I remember the first time I sat in a Ghibli. couldn't believe how bad the interior toichpoints are (gear lever, window switches. They try to make up for it with good leather, but god it feels so cheap using it. Worse than any Toyota or Honda.

Nice car. To bad our government demands at least 70. 000, - tax if you want to buy a car like this, on top of the 140k base price, making the total price way over 200k euro. Makes it a bit to expensive (which is the point I guess.

I remember everyone trashing the ghibli when it first came out as an overpriced FCA parts bin car, but good to known theyre dipping into the nicer parts these days. Eyes out for these in a couple years when they depreciate like hell!

Too late, too old and unfortunately, not enough. The Ghibli may have a better badge and more exciting engine, but unfortunately the M5 is faster on paper and in reality and has all the comfort and tech a car of that price should have.

That was my feeling with my Alfa Giulia. I never even bothered to look up the 0-60. It was more than quick enough and it felt amazing on the road. It s a feeling I ve definitely not gotten from the other European cars I ve had

It is Italian, let's face it, half of luxury and gadgets will break down almost right after you buy it. And even if it not breaks it will wear out extremely quick. No quality at all. All show no go, sorry, nothing like a AMG

For all broke people who cant afford Ghibli nor M5 and shouting about reliability: Who gives a horse's arse for maintenance when you have money. Someone who drives Maserati doesn't give a for broke kids defending BMW.

Maybe it s just me but it s nothing exciting with Maserati anymore. Drove the new Levante GT the last days and, just from driving perspective, there is hardly a difference between this one or a regular Volkswagen

First time I see a realistic 0-60, I mean without Launch Control which artificially boost 0-60 but does not reflect real car performance. Interesting, you should do the same for each your 0-60 tests.
