You don't necessarily need to do the screw driver trick against your ear you can also rest your chin against the screw driver handle and hear just as well through the vibrations it causes in your jaw and entire skull. Sometimes you can actually hear things better that way because the vibrations cause more stuff to jiggle than just the area around your ear. Chinning it is actually, partially, a guitar player trick we use to tune guitars by ear. Not just an old school mechanic's trick. but being told to do that by a mechanic is how I started doing it with instruments and you won't believe how much better you can hear things doing it until you try it!

Can you hear it if its clogged? They both click if I stick a battery to it but I cant hear it while cranking but my engine is really loud all I hear is engine. Idk if they are clogged or its the ecu or what but they wont spray and its getting fuel all the way to the throttle body

I suspect my fuel injectors to cause the engine to stall. It starts. Runs for 10 seconds and cuts out. I cant do this test because it stalls so fast. How else can I test the injectors. TDI golf 2012

93 F150 that had a burned up wiring harness. That's all been replaced but now no injector is pulsing. The vehicle will run on ether.
There is power to all the injectors with Key on.

I have a cyl 3 misfire. Ruled out the plug and wire for that cyl. as well as valve lash. Now looking into the injector as the possible culprit.

I have one knot firing but I put another one in and it still didnt fire, how do you test the connection, it has current but can the plug be bad

Would the injector make the same noise thru the screw driver if the injector isnt seated all the way down? Very helpful video btw

Question for ya, I have 02 ford ranger. Do u think it might be a injector bad if mine has a little ping when u give it gas? Thanks
