There are some cars where you should not pull with the maximal torque and leave: you should have turn back a little to compensate hot running tolerances. Unless the bearing will wear out much faster because of hot or stuck.

Maybe you can do a backup camera on your older car or truck. I combined a mirror dash cam with the backup camera for under 100! It s really useful!
