Rust removal and repair. Repairing rust on your car is something that should be done quickly to prevent it from spreading. It can be easily done without welding, by using strong but inexpensive body filler. You can even paint the car yourself. Rust repair is common at the wheel wells and rocker panels of cars and in this video I show the proper and most thorough way to remove and repair rust. Products

If you're just fixing a small rust spot and there are no holes or it hasn't rusted through yet, DO NOT hammer it in with the screw driver to level it out. Especially if you don't know the severity of the damage. the screw driver will go right through.
Aside from that, this video helped me immensely. Thank you

I really want to try this. I have a old 2004 e46 BMW. Veryyy low mileage for the make (only 160km. But I want to keep it for a long time. Canadian winters are harsh, and im a student and cant afford paying a professional to rustproof my car. Really scared to do this on my own, hopefully it works

Should I wait for summer to do this? Lol. My rear fenders are rotting on my 01 Sierra which is common and I dont want the salt to make it any worse than it is already. Should I at least send it down and spray it with rust converter for now?

Pretty sure rubber undercoatings were proven to greatly increase oxidation rates. The break down really easily, creating pinholes and crevices that trap water against the metal causing it to rust faster.

Hello Chris, I have a 2007 Toyota Highlander with rust underneath in the chassis and axels, do you have a video about removing rust under the car and spry coating it?

I'm a diy painter and I find it amazing how much work is involved between good enough and factory finish. In any case great work Chris, it looks beautiful
