Question. Keep in mind i am relatively new to this high performance stuff. When decelerating with an engine that goes pop, pop, pop, if you were to continually engine break going down a long steady hill. Would the flame pops cause overheating issues by the time you got to the bottom?

You want some kind of deflector. I've seen a 6 shield that looked really good. Or, do a semi original batmobile that mimics the risers behind the seats. You might want dual-hoop rollbars, as well. It would all blend and look finished.

Unfortunately I think it looks terrible without a windscreen. You will regret it the first rally you go on. So many crazy things you could have done without removing the windscreen.
