Why start the train guy on the roof of a parking garage? He has no reason to be there, if he doesn't have a car or bike. You should have started all 3 in the same office/workplace and ended the race in the same apartment/house. This would mean the car and bike guy would have to spend time walking from the office to the parking garage, just like the train guy has to walk from the office to the station. When arriving at the finish line the car must be parked, possible in a parking garage and the bike must be parked a chained. Then the car and bike guy must walk to the apartment. This would have been a more fair representation of a typical LA commute. You literally started the race with the bike guy on a bike and the car guy in a car, but the train guy is not in a train. Bad Test

Having driven and taken transit in LA each has a pro and a con. Pro of transit is parking is 3 + 7-day pass and hey presto city is yours. I would park my car at NoHo Red Line and explore. Perk is no worries about parking and total flexibility. Have done a modifidIf I drive in LA it is because of hauling lots of items and/or going places that taking transit too is impossibly long. Good luck hauling a giant 3D printer and camera gear on a bunch of trains and buses. I have once taken a 20' moving truck into LA with furniture for a family member, dropped it at a Uhaul near a subway stop and taken the subway to Union Station and we rode Metrolink out. Not the most efficient but it worked

Nissi Nope
I started walking everything that is reachable within one hour, after realizing that everybody around me wasn't moving by foot ever, except for a walk to the toilet. I found it so absurd that People would drive, alone, in their huge car, for a walk of 10 Minutes just to get some Soda or shitty Snack. And then everybody is pissed by the traffic. But now I am just walking, listening to Music or playing Pokemon Go and doing something good for my Body. Never regret it just realize how lazy the humans become. I live in Berlin Germany traffic here is shit.

You forgot some facts: The metro guy was walking, no sweat, paid 2 for the train, maybe naped, meanwhile the dude on the bike has to put effort into moving while being carefull tha no cars hit him(and if you have a fancy job with a suit, biking is not an option) and the car, you must have a drivers licence, own a car, insurance, gas and actually driving. In any city tha the subway/metro exists, 90% it is the most affordable, convenient and easy mode of transportation.

Cool video. But Raghav would have won had he been using a adult kick scooter combined with metro, i do all the time and saves loads of time. But between the 3 I would have to choose public transport. I won't be sweaty or need to look for parking. Biking would be a very close second option especially for short to medium distances. Also, I was walking around the west LA area and randonly came across the donut media studio. it was kinda cool.

Unless you drive a Tesla. Miles driven, miles used. Unlike a gas car, miles on, miles used. An hour in a gas car would be be like 20-25 miles consumed if not more from all that stop and go traffic to drive 13 miles. Gas for 2019 in LA has been 4 per gallon so if your car gets 25 mpg, you've spent 4. In LA a kWh is. 20 and a kWh gives 4. 6 miles. To drive 13 miles, it would be about 0. 60 nearly 7 times cheaper, not to mention autopilot haha

Its not dangerous to talk on cellphone while driving. Other state doesnt have that law, you Californians has so many nonsense laws. Your state has the most strict when it comes to regulation. So much laws about preventing global warming but yet its the most affected the so called effects of global warming. Very strict with gun regulation yet the state has a lot of gun violence gangs and all kinds of crimes.

I like bikes and public transport, but when you need to get thru whole city 20 km, you will die on bike because of hills. But e-bike would be interesting for city transportation. Train is good if it's working nad not staying in fields with malfunction. :-D In my city (Prague) metro is the best, it's going every few minutes and you can go cross whole city in 20 - 30 minutes.

So this is why there's so many cars, despite the cost, because nothing compares to it, you have in it all the comfort of this world, you have the speed, you have a place to sleep, to eat, to make love, to listen to the music, to charge your devices, to make your coffee, to work on your laptop, to pick up your friends or family, to cry alone etc.

Not true. easiest way to deal with LA traffic. is to avoid that cesspool welfare state all together. lol You should do a video on how to avoid random squatter shit on your doorstep. or how to identify puddles of piss as to not bathe your shoes in that liberal freedom. Screw LA. smells of urine and desperation. lol
