I daily a 94 xl ranger extra cab it has a Vulcan 3. 0l. was stock when I got it. The colgan actually ran all the way until the ranger ended production. Define alliteration of the colgan v6 was the 4. 0l single overhead cam. The rangers came with the Lima 2. 3 l the Vulcan 3. 0 l and the colgan 4. 0l. they ended production of the 2. 9 and 2. 8 l colgan in the generation 2 trucks. as far as I'm concerned the only real rangers are the ones with twin i-beam suspension. The best mini truck ever built the new ranger is not a ranger sorry not sorry. It's a car with a bed. Might as well just buy a Civic and cut the back off

I remember the 97 ranger, its was rather snappy to drive with a manual transmission and it spun the tires rather easy making it a pretty fun and good utility machine that could get to a healthy 115 mph if you ever where in a real hurry. (My former boss wasn't too thrilled with the short longevity of the rear tires. Yet he kept lending it to me tho)

ROAD TRIP!
Dont know if much people know about this, but there was also Ranger Xtreme in 1998, it looked like the splash but it it came only with a single cab, and it had a punchy 4. 0L V6. Id say they are super rare to see because apart from the one my dad has, i've only seen 3 more, two in black and one in red

My grandfather left me his 1996 ranger when he passed away. 4 cylinder, 5 speed manual. Just recently had to install a timing belt and spark plugs and wires. The factory plugs and wires where still in the engine. 23 years later, they still worked. 100, 000 miles.

A lot if truth in this video. My old trusty ranger has successfully hauled a bakers dozen beach babes on occasion. My faithful Lima gets a lot of flack for being stock and older than many of my coworkers, but they just hate us because they antus.

My first truck was a black 1993 Ranger Splash (red interior. Had a 5spd with the 2. 3l that made 80 something horsepower. I miss that truck and think about it at least once a week still and it has been almost 15 years.

I got a pic of a woman driving a 2019 Ranger a couple weeks ago, she came all the way to Missouri from Texas in it. I tried to get a ride in it, but settled for a short convo at the stop light.

The ranger is outnumber by the hilux here in Sydney 3/1. but everytime I've been in a ranger it's always felt more solid, can pull more and less likely to flip over when a corner approaches
