Saw the 0% 80 month financing offered by GM and so I went to the dealership to buy my 2020 Corvette. Guess what? They are not making any more Corvettes this year. sold out. They only are making 40, 000. Anything new will have to be a 2021 and it will take at least 8 months to get one. They told me that I could go on a list for Corvette orders that are cancelled and I could wait. but I would be on a long list and probably would not get a 2020. it would be a 2021. so I went home and will keep driving my Toyota Prius. Besides, I really did not want a first year car. and it looks like changing the plugs on the new Corvette will be a major issue. Will we have to drop the engine to do so?

Recessions don't really hurt the rich most of the time they come out richer than before the recession. It's the nouveau riche that are hurt. They are like lottery winners or pro athletes. They think the money will never stop so they spend. The rich have so much money they can even make money in a recession by buying up everything at rock bottom prices. That's how the Rothschilds took control of the British economy back in 1815. after the Battle of Waterloo. the rumor spread by Rothschild that Wellington had lost to Napoleon caused the stock market crash. Guess who bought everything for pennies on the dollar

i think il stick with my 1996 jeep grand cherokee 5. 2 liter engine that still gets 17 miles per gallon that only needed gaskets to be dependable again after only 200, 000 miles yea only? yup they made trucks good back then. all metal and no plastic parts but very few. now n days all new crap cars and trucks are nothing but plastic. i spent about 500 bucks on parts and did the work myself fixing my jeep back to no leaks and i trust it to go from memphis tenn to charlotte nc now. 7: 44 looks like my 5. 2 liter engine hmm. lol. dame good mopar

With the Chinese a virus destroying our economy, you are going to start to see 60, 000 trucks 20, 000 off. I bought a Honda Odyssey EXL in 2009 after the recession just happened for 9, 000 off sticker. I still drive it to this day due to its quality but because I got such a great deal. This depression we are going into will see cars dropping dramatically.

Talking about the timing interference reminds me of the time I figured out my 1987 Hyundai Excel did not have an interference engine and decided I would just wait until the timing belt broke. I forget to consider where the car would be when it broke and it would be at the shade tree in my front yard. Good thing I had a friend with a tow dolly

I am thinking of getting a used 2018 or 2019 Mercedes e class or Lexus ES or GS. Already know which one youre going to recommend But Carmax has a great warranty which it covers anything that basically is not due to normal wear and tear Anybody have any experience with dealing with Carmax and their warranty?

Electric cars will push mechanics, big oil, and energy dependence out of business Scotty. Admit it. Who likes fixing their cars? An ok EV will make an awesome ICE look like a Super high maintenance dinosaur. You're right with ICEs, but you're afraid of EVs. As you should be, you're a mechanic.
