Heres Why Gasoline is a Ripoff Mr10Alpine: Unless you visit places like Utah, where the octane rating there is 85. This low of a number makes modern cars run like garbage, and in some cases, overheat, akin to running on cheap, no-name, questionable gas and having a lean condition. Not good especially if you're driving up steep grades and high deserts all day in that state. You're better off spending more, especially if your car recommends something like 87 or better. I'm glad places like New Mexico are finally stepping up to 87, instead of 86. So yes, there is night-and-day difference between cheap, no-name gas and Top-Tier.

G37 probably need some new sensors My 9/99 i30 did. After I fixed the po420. The po720 has not returned. Now I'm only dealing with a po500Bluedrive helps a ton. My transmission still has some red not burnt thinking about take a quart or 2 out and replace it with Lucas. I'm only thinking about it. After I buy a es350 for helpfully 5000 or less. I'm at 253000. The engine is like new. Royal purple 5w30. Valve's clatter less. I'm not a mechanic just a installer with asperger's. God blessI love a mystery.

hey scotty, my dad has a 2018 toyota tacoma quad cab. We both sit in the front. However the side part of my backrest on my seat creaks and im not sure why. Before it would stop creaking if i sat in a certain position. But while me and my dad cleaned the truck my dad sat on the edge of the seat causing it to creak alot more which irritates him. This problem started way after the first thuro (i dont know how to spell that word) truck clean me and dad did. Got a solution?

Hey Scotty I have a 2002 Mercury Mountaineer that has a rough idle and is stalling most times it idles for longer then 10 seconds. Took it to Advance Auto Parts for it to get scanned they said that code it got was for the dpfe. Bought it and changed used a volt meter to make sure new one worked that old one was not working. It is still doing it though not as badly will now only stall after engine heats up or it idles for about a minute. What could be causing this?

Thanks for the Video. Oil Company's ripping off the consumer. say it isn't so. I remember when there was a Gas Station on every corner, and they would have Gas Wars. People actually standing on the corners with signs. telling what you would get with how many gallons. 0. 11-0. 12 cents a gallon and sometimes even less. When I was in High School 100octane was 0. 25 cents a gallon. Fill the tank with 5. 00 and have money left over for food while you cruised the Blvd

Help from anyone please I'm looking at buying my first car. My neighbor I know has a 98' Jeep Cherokee that she had a rebuilt engine put in. She wants 2000 but the car has been sitting for over 3 years. (I've lived near her for years so I seen when the last time it was ever moved was) should I even consider it cause of it sitting so long?

Ironically the delivery trucks all go to the same distribution gas terminals, likely same stuff. The brand name gas companies are known to put tracers into the gas to just keep the franchisees honest so that their not filling their tanks with lower price no brand gas. gasoline somehow is one of the industries in which price fixing is ok.

Need advice 2013 volkswagen jetta tdi highline it runs fine but get very poor gas mileage. 10 bucks gets me 100 km but really it's like 60 km. It's my brother's he hasn't changed the fuel filter or transmission oil nor the diesel filter has been cleaned. So he wants one grand for it is it worth it it only has 190, 000 km.

Scotty, I've got an '05 (Toyota) Scion xA with manual trans and just over 53, 000 miles. The tachometer and speedometer only work sporadically. Before I take it to my mechanic for an evaluation and repair what do you think I can expect to hear the problem is? Also is it an interference or non interference engine?
