Breaking News: Elon Musk Will Destroy Ford\'s F-150 dekoldrick: There's a lot that need to be sacrificed to make an electric truck practical. The bed will have to be shallow in order to fit larger batteries to get an acceptable range, the truck will have to be uni body instead of bed and cabin being separated on a frame to make room for wider batteries and to make it more rigid so the body doesn't twist and damage the battery pack, raising the truck can fit more batteries while keeping the bed deep enough to be usable but this also raises the center of gravity which makes it easier to flip, the truck will have to pull it own weight plus what ever cargo it's also carrying including it's own batteries so this will affect the miles per charge heavily. Just throwing more batteries at it will fix one problem but increase the others.

We are heading to electric. Batteries are getting better. Battery designs are coming out of the moth balls - the ones that were bought off, so they could not compete with the dinos. But before they do that they are gonna drain every drop of crude oil from the planet. Do these propagandist idiots realize why the crude oil is there? It is to insulate the plates beneath the earths surface to prevent heat from the core from working its way up and to lubricate the tectonic plates. Stop ruining the planet and stop burning almost a million tons of jet fuel per day to support the city in the air.

If the past is any indication of the future, then I believe electrifying conventional cars is the next step. This will be done mostly to meet emissions and fuel economy standards. Even then, regular internal combustion cars will still have a place because that's what the world wants. By world I mean the powers that be. we are addicted to oil. It is _extremely_ profitable. It powers governments; it drives the world. As long as it makes countries wealthy it will continue to be pumped.

All the weight of the Tesla pickup will be far lower then anything Ford, GM, Toyota and Chrysler/Dodgy could ever hope to produce. Tesla engineering, innovation, design brilliance and safest vehicles engineered on the road today the Ford F150 and other makes POS is not even in the game anymore once Tesla enters. Tesla range, quality and performance allways far outperform anything the so called former big three could even dream to be.

Ok I upload my car mod video tomorrow. Yesterday i phone up a car dealer in town and asked for a price on an alternator for a 2019 corolla hatchback. I told the parts guy that I need new alternator brushes. He says they no longer sell just the brushes and that I will have to buy a whole new alternator which costs 715 dollars. The same thing goes for alternator diodes - you can no longer buys those separately either - however. .. ..

that tesla thing looks like a TONKA TOY the only thing it's going to carry is people, it's definitely not a work duty truck and that's why most people by trucks to begin with, even the 1/2 ton truck have a better duty rating than those things. yeah those things are for LAM'S (LOOK AT ME) they aren't for real people who want a truck for it's utility value. will be a long time before they get there.

Yeah bs. Ford will always be the best and that thing Tesla calls a pickup truck is not a pickup truck. It looks like everything else but a truck. In fact, Id be willing to bet that its not capable. In a nutshell, this is a prime example of how manufacturers have forgotten what are really meant for, and thats getting work done not being luxurious.

Ford has been developing a hybrid f150 and even full electric themselves. Us loyalists, would never switch over. It's like Mopar owners. They would never turn their backs on Mopar. Same with Ford owners. Musk is a great pioneer, but he has a long ways to go. Electric vehicles just aren't that efficient.

Scotty, the title of this video doesn't match the majority of the conversation. Also, it's so far from a true statement that it's ridiculous. Lately, this is the new format of your video titles, and I'm no longer very interested in your videos. been a long-time watcher, and my interest is widdling away
