Heres Why Dodge Ram is the Worst Pickup Truck John A. Ricci: My 2015 Honda Accord cost me more time at the dealer for recalls than my 2006 Dodge Caravan. Not saying that Dodge makes great vehicles but I am very happy with my 13 year old Dodge Caravan. No problems with the transmission and I have fixed all of the minor problems myself since new. Back in 2006 I paid approximately 10000 Canadian dollars less for my Caravan compared to the Honda and Toyota vans. The Caravan was the best VALUE even though it had several weak points. 13 years old now and runs great. Air conditioning is ice cold and never been repaired.

Meanwhile Scotty declares the FORD F150 the best pickup where Ford Motor Co. aware of at least five accidents involving the best-selling F-150 pickup caused by unintended downshifting into first gear, which can lead to loss of control and crashes, issued a recall for 1. 48 million F-150s in North America for model years 2011-13 along with recalls on brand new cars and SUVs for TWO YEARS worth of vehicles on Feb. 13, 2019, .Ooops Suck on that for awhile. Tell us Scotty how a fundamental design flaw affecting 1. 5 MILLION vehicles is better than a defective process lasting a week - where that process was most likely a malfunctioning robot? Hmmmmm. But of course you won't respond to this as you seem to be more interested in histrionics and hyperbole. And we won't even mention Toyotas' recalls.

dodge may be trash but the dealers are not having ANY issues pushing the 50, 000. 00 yuppy mobiles off the lots. sure when they breakdown its a pain. unlike ford they do not need to go to a dealer 2 times a day to get fixed. now dont get me started on the 4 CYLINDER chevy. who was the bonehead that thought of that? the ridgeline is nothing more than a look ate me fancy truck from honda, which if you exceed the towing capcity they void the warranty. seen it happen. toyota makes a decent tacoma made in TEXAS. but at that price eeeks. no thanks.

The 3rd gen was the last good year of ram pickups. Not to say they didn't have problems then, but the hemi and the 5. 9 Cummins was a good engine. I work at a diesel repair shop and they say the 5. 9 is the best Cummins made for the Dodges and I agree. We have a 3rd gen with the Cummins and it is a very good truck. Transmission is not good, but of you maintain it the engine will last forever. As much of a Chrysler fan as I am I have to agree they have gone to crap in these last year's. It's sad what happened to them.

Toyota Tundra recall affects roughly 51, 000 vehicles and it relates specifically to the driveshaft slip yoke, which connects the driveshaft to the inner workings of the trucks transmission. According to the Japanese automaker, who has seen their once-spotless reputation crumble to nothing over the past two years, a small group of the 2011 Tundra pickups were built with slip yokes that were improperly cast during the manufacturing process. Because of these casting flaws, the yokes are prone to cracking and breaking

Own a 2003 ram 3500, 2003 ram 1500, 2009 ram 2500, and now a2019 Charger. Zero issue plus if I get recall well they are free. At work we have 17 2016, 2017 f150 and f250 gas and diesel. Let me tell you those are garbage. Probably bought most of them again by all the repairs paid to get them fixed. 4 engines replaced at around 65000miles. All 5. 0v8 and one 6. 7 powerjoke. Yes they are well maintained. Love Scotty but man he sure can be full of it some times. Its all good I still keep watching. Lol. Toyota Toyota Toyota.

Scotty cmon man sometimes you act like if you make a car you would do it perfect and it wouldn't ever have any recalls and it would last a million years. Go ahead and tell me a company that hasn't made mistakes or had recalls. And I've heard you talk about fiat buying dodge about 20 times by now we get it brother. I've seen dodge rams with over 400k miles with original tranny and motor. I dont mind you stating your opinion I just don't understand why I've heard you say the same thing in about 5 different videos.

I drive a 2003 Dodge Dakota with 130, 000 miles. 5 speed manual. Regular oil changes and other basic preventative maintenance and it's still going just as strong as the day it came off the lot. Only thing that's ever happened that made me wince was the blower motor resister blew on the blower motor for the A/C and I had to replace that and the wiring harness. Other than that, best truck I've ever had. Everyone else in my family has gone through different trucks but I'm in my trusty dodge.

Toyota is recalling 44, 121 of its 2018 and 2019 Toyota Tacoma pickup trucks because a faulty brake part could make it more difficult to come to a full stop, raising the risk of a crash. The seal on a brake part could become damaged, allowing brake fluid to leak. As a result, drivers may notice a sudden loss of braking performance or a change in how the brake pedal feels when pressed, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA

Camshafts in 5. 7-liter v-8 engines have snapped, says Toyota spokesman Mike Michels. The outside camshaft supplier, which Toyota declined to identify, has traced the problem to a metallurgical defect in the casting, a flaw in the metal which they have corrected, he says. To date, Toyota has built 30, 000 of the engines, and the company is determining how many might be affected. Michels says that it was an early batch.
