I put LED headlights in my 75 CJ5. They are awsome. The only time they are NOT awsome is because of what you said. They run cool. So, in the winter in the snow they don't melt the snow so you lose lighting power. I think they sell ones with heating elements to clear the snow and ice. But that kinds defeats the low current draw as the heating elements probably take more juice than the OEM ones. Take care Scotty

You should have your own mechanic school program and help the new generations to get the best tuition ever they can find. to think out of the box ( be an employer). years of experience will lost after your pass away and the new ones will stick to traditional boring and useless education system.

Thank you Thought I was crazy. Now how can we get the id10it errors on the road who uses brights 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Seriously the brightest thing in the sky is out for hours on end and people still drive with brights for safety?

Hey Scotty my 2005 Toyota Tacoma 2. 7L manual transmission is suddenly getting 9 mpg instead of the usual 14 mpg. It has 73k miles and is in great shape. Do you think the mpg problem will be fixed as part of the 75k scheduled maintenance?

Also you need to calibrate your headlights I calibrate my HID lights once a year and from hitting bumps in Chicago the headlights do move the slightest each time causing them to blind people when not aligned.

The DOT was bought out by big money. Plastic lenses should be illegal. Your normal person just doesn't notice it and then the dealer wants 85, 000 to fix them. Is that right?

HID Bulbs are great in a housing just signed up for them. Using that kind a bowl and a House in design for halogen does not work.
