the TRUTH about the recent police encounters. Vousie V: Misleading title. Very good points about police & speedlimits though. Too many people just see police as a hassle. One thing, though: Speed limits should be set at the speed that the road is safe at, not the speed at which the flow of traffic wants to go. If the legislators have done their research and decided that the road becomes unsafe above 100 km/h (eg if the road sees a lot of accidents, then the traffic shouldn't be going 130 km/h. If it is, as in your example, then they should be putting more police on that road. One thing though: If everyone is going that much faster, then police really should be setting up auto speed cameras that'll actually be able to catch every single person who comes down that road at 130 km/h. After a short while of that, people will stop driving down it at such dangerous speeds.

Hey love your videos I live in Canada, specifically in Montreal and I just wanted to clarify somethings. When the speed limit in Canada was transferred from mph to kph they round it down to an even number. That it why the speed limit is a little under the speed in the States. The police in Canada usually let you go up to 120 kph on the highway with no problem, they usually tolerate 20 above on the highway. Also in one of your last videos you went to Montreal and a guy in the rally got a ticket for turning on red. You can turn on red in the province of Quebec, just not in Montreal It would have been cool to meet you.

Well, it's simple: Rules need to be respected, even if you feel that they are no good. There are ways to try and get them changed, just ignoring them is not the way - even if everyone does that. The dangerous situations arise if you come up to someone who does adhere to the rules, with you being so much faster. Those that do follow the rules won't be at fault if anything happens, either - you will be. And yet they will pay the price for your behaviour - like always. Good bye.

the police are still 100% responsible for actually enforcing the law in spite of public safety and they very well know that they are revenue collectors and not protecting and serving the public in any effective capacity. we set the principle at Nuremberg that just following orders was not an acceptable excuse and that when something is wrong you are expected to do something about it and not just be a compliant sheep.

I love the german autobahn, because there is the law, that you have to drive in the right lane if your not overtaking, so if you want to go faster you just change one lane to the left and if there is no traffic you change back tobthe right, so everyone can drive at their own speed.

I soo agree with you iev lived in Ontario all my life and I drive 125 on the Highway anytime I'm on them. Because everyone else is moving the same. It faster. the speed limits need to be adjusted to new cars and then a speed minimum needs to be enforced.

wow, never have i heard a more lame ass excuse for speeding, you dont have a clue about road safety or driving, jeeps are for gays, its a soft roader, try a proper landrover and dude you must be devasted having a receeding hairline like that at 26 lmfao

But deciding the maximum speed based on the average speed driven is backwards. The maximum speed should be set at a speed which is still safe, no matter what the average speed is. Thats why the Germans have no speed limits in some places

dude, if you think 135 kph is fast, thats only about 84 mph, i would normally go about 90 on a clearish (really light traffic) which is about 145 kph, why do people from Canada and Europe think 90 kph is really fast

Two times he got pulled over by the OPP, not the RCMP. And the first ticket he had an illegal item in the car, being the radar detector. You are just arrogant being in that car. Follow the rules and respect the OPP.
