Due to heavy track work between Asker and Drammen, today's train is diverted over the Gjvik Line to Hnefoss with speed information! Speedinformation: At some places the maximum speed displayed will be higher than the base speed shown on the signal. This is because some trains are allowed for higher speeds than the base speed. Almost all rolling stock used for passenger transport is allowed for higher speeds. Freight trains has to run on the basic speed. We start out going east before branching off to the Gjvik Line going North. We continue on the Gjvik Line until Roa where we head off onto the Roa - Hnefoss Line. The line between Roa and Hnefoss is mainly used by freight trains going from Alnabru to Roa. At Viul between Jevnaker and Hval, also known as Waffleheim, one of the Herd members shows how it is done! Mr. WarmeWaffle and wife greeting me with Mario and Norwegian flags. Woohoo! Since we were running late the Traffic controller decided to meet Train 63 and 602 at Hnefoss instead of Veme. We had to make sure Track 1 one was clear, so we went up the west end and reversing back into track 5 before letting passengers on and off. This made the whole operation really smooth and train 602 was not delayed. Bergen Line information: Flam Line information: Signaling information: Line information and speed: Train Stops at: Oslo S (Diververted via Gjvik Line) Hnefoss Nesbyen Gol l Wolfgang: hallo we have travelled it on the 12. june from Olso to Bergen and at the 25th back, a wonderfull trip even we had on our way to Bergen 2: 30 hours delay at bergen, dur to technical problems at olso while peparing the train, so they showed on the display at the platform. on the trip to bergen we used the normal track but on the way back we drove the Gjovik line

We are do lucky to have someone like you go take the time to record these ride on different lines. Need this in the States. But never will happen. Again thanks. Untill next time.

I'm a model railway fan. I've watched this video multiple times for ideas on what to build next. I even named a small town on my railway Aneby. Top quality video. Thanks and keep making more of these.

If you ever come this way again, HinduCowgirl, could you please make us a 360 video? The scenery is unusually beautiful.
(And no flirting with the waffleman)

Thank you so much! I've been searching for a video that shows this route, and the quality on this is a 10/10! You've earned yourself a like and sub from me: )

Have you ever driven a freight train? I'm guessing that the weight, and maybe the size, and maybe other things would cause it to be different.

Please can I ask. The timetable says 6 hours between Oslo & Bergan, but you do it in three. Three fabulous hours I may say. Can you explain please

After Roa you go left on the other line and shortly afterwards you see snow on the left, is that already fresh snow or is it from last year?
