Gosh, those new trams are long, aren't they. I must say, there's some pretty impressive graffiti out that way. And some fairly neo-brutalist flats around 17: 20. Are those Co-Op stores that are quite common the same as the Co-op we have here?
And talking of distracting ads, there may not be Angela Merkel but there seem to be quite a few about of that one at 20: 24, which I don't know what it may be advertising but i wouldn't object to too strongly.

What a fascinating journey - thank you! What really struck me on this third leg is how densely populated the area must be. In spite of the tram going through what certainly looks like suburbs, I saw hardly any structure that looked like a single family home. Everything is apartments. Maybe the land is too expensive in that area to allow the luxury of a single home and garden.

Hmmm. Based on what I saw at 46: 55+ minute, I tend to the second option: this steam tram use a combustion inhibitors. :) Sorry for my technical tediousness, dear Tim, and thanks for your best videos!
UPD. So, as far as I remember the story, German chemistry about 1940 has technology who allows fully extract energy from coal. i. e. such use 'complete combustion' process.

A little late to the party here but have enjoyed your series. Gotta say that regardless of your motivations for protecting the privacy of German conversations, the music made for nice interludes that provided some needed variety. So, even if you came to that result rather backwards, it was a good one!

Well I now know parts of Bern I never went to! Good video of the entire tram system. This trilogy was very comprehensive and well documented. For the first time I saw graffiti in Bern! that was surprising but thankfully only in a small area. This must have taken some effort on your part, thank you.

4: 25 Reminds me a bit of Winchester, if Winchester was in a dystopia wehere people were shot for littering
18: 24 That's not an M3
30: 55
40: 25 It's a Werber Twike?

boy if that train ran down the street here in america it would have to stop every 2 hours or so to scrape the bodies of idiot kids with cell phones who walked in front of it off. it would never work here.

Thank you for uploading this. Such a beautiful city-- with beautiful architecture and houses-- absolutely RUINED by ugly, disgusting graffiti EVERYWHERE. Such disrespect! Sickening!

Love this video- and the music is great too. Thank you for sharing! I live in Vancouver, but watching this makes me want to visit Switzerland again very soon.

-There's that Citroen Traction Avant again! (30: 55) It was parked near the point where you turned round in part I, as I recall.

A good film applauds the author, but the most important comment is the political correctness in this idiotic, idiotic Europe

If there were no yellow road marks I would say you were at Bonn, Germany. Scenery seems to be typical at administration towns.

Love the video. A really good job and could I say the music is brilliant, especially around the 16 minute section. Well done.

I do wish there was a place commentary. I lived 16 years in been but I still find these roads hard to name and place.
