Take a trip to the Top of Europe aboard the world famous Jungfraubahn train and look down on the awesome Aletsch Glacier. Our journey begins on the Bernese Oberland Railway between Interlaken and Grund, where we board the Wengernalpbahn train to Kleine Scheidegg, the final leg is completed aboard the legendary Junfraubahn. We go back in time to 2005 for a journey from Lucerne to Grindelwald to witness the devastation caused by unprecedented rainfall. We finish this study of Interlaken-s railways with a recent trip with a standard gauge train from Bern to Interlaken where we change to a metre gauge train bound for Meirengen. For a map of the Bernese Oberland Railways

Thank you! I can only repeat: -Great video of great quality! - - which as well refers to all other your videos I watched.
But I have a question regarding your statement:
-We finish this study of Interlaken-s railways with a recent trip aboard a Bern to Interlaken train where we change to a narrow gauge train bound for Meirengen. -
Is there really any narrow gauge from Interlaken to Meirengen? IR from Luzern to Interlaken via Meirengen is standard. Maybe I missed something?

Another great video, Tim. We've been in lockdown here, since middle March, so I am spending a lot of time watching You Tube videos, including yours. You're a very lucky chap, travelling to all the different places with your camera. I can't get enough of your wonderful videos, all perfectly shot, edited and soundtracks added. What editing software do you use? Also do you use SmartSound?

As with all your videos, it is very good to watch. Certainly NOT BORING. But two aspects of this video are very confusing. Firstly you muddle up shots from two years ten years apart (2005 and 2015. Secondly, you jump around geographically. Anybody watching who does not know the area is likely to get very confused. See particularly the question from 'Kot Red'.

Definitely better weather than I've ever had, and the superbly sharp pictures are outstanding. Having stayed in Giswil at the Hotel Bahnhof, I was especially interested in the shots along that valley. I think your trip up Pilatus had more typical weather - but what a climb! Very enjoyable all round.

Congratulations Tim on another of your excellent videos, captured during that memorable October weather of 2015.
You and your wife make a good team. Having spent many holidays in the Interlaken area in former times, I am always delighted to be able to view that unique area again.

Pretty devastating flood damage, something you see in many European areas. I saw some amazing water / river damage in the UK a few years ago, water can produce an incredible amount of energy.
