In this video we tour Phnom Penh to see some of its cultural highlights and learn a little more about its recent history. We start by visiting the -National Museum of Cambodia-, the country's leading historical and archaeological museum, followed by a visit to -Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum- and the -Cheung Ek Killing Fields-. The latter two left me feeling uncomfortable, not knowing whether to include them in this video or not. They are a part of Cambodia-s recent history and I felt to leave them out would be wrong, so they are included with a silent soundtrack as a mark of respect to those who suffered in these appalling places. Finally on a brighter note we visit the colourful and magnificent -Royal Palace- a complex of buildings which serves as the royal residence of the King of Cambodia.
