Well I've heard of the 'extreme sports' that the young go in for, - I would call this, one for the older ones amongst us, that looked very exhilarating. I bet the fellow at the helm knew that river like the back of his hand. I know how those boats work but with those passengers it must add a bit more than usual weight to them. Out of interest do you know how fast you were going, and the size (hp) of the engine. Really enjoyed the video.

Wow! such a joyful ride! perhaps equally exciting as river rafting ( but very safe for elders. I would've wished the journey never ended-. Wonder how could you film it, & so well! Thanks very much for a great video from a ex Taumarunui ite now living in Thailand. I boated the river many times both leasure and racing. I have some great memories. I do feel home sick.
