70EUR/75USD is an amazing bargain for what is essentially a moving hotel room. As for the power outlet, packing a power strip solves that problem-

question though: why are there passport/immigration checks at Zilina when both CZ and SK are Schengen countries? Aren't passport/immigration checks between Schengen countries supposed to be abolished?

You have to be the first person ever to honesly reccomend CD over an alternative --
+ 20: 14 well I travel with CD a lot but never once had happend to me that a train of EC class or higher would get terminatted and replaced with a bus.
Anyway just a few more routes with CD and you'll find amtrack schedule quiet an accurate one i think.

The gap between the train and the platform is very large, and it's too high for passengers with heavy luggage to get on. I tripped once and fell on the ground, got some bruises and bleeding on my knee. Actually, most Eastern European countries are having the same problem.

Well even tho it was dellayed for 7 hours there probably was a reason for not putting you on the bus replacement But zssk has renovated their newer coaches It would be cool if you checked them out mostly on ic services

Great video. What an experience this trip must have been. Did the crew bring around another meal? I would have been starving by the time I'd have reached Prague with a 7-hour delay and only getting breakfast.
