Auckland (M-ori: T-maki Makaurau) is New Zealand-s largest and most populous city although it-s not the capital city, that honour belongs to Wellington. Nearly all Auckland-s residents live within a half an hour of one of the many beautiful beaches. The city is situated between the Hauraki Gulf to the east, the Hunua Ranges to the south-east, the Manukau Harbour to the south-west, and the Wait-kere Ranges to the north-west. Lush natural vegetation and rainforest covers the surrounding hills, the landscape is dotted with 53 volcanic centres making up the Auckland Volcanic Field. The city is home to many of the country-s top tourist and cultural sites, in this series of videos we will visit some of them, such as the Museum of Transport and Technology (MOTAT, Sky Tower, Auckland Zoo and Kelly Tarlton's Sea Life Aquarium, we also see the water front from the quayside before boarding the ferry-s that connect the suburbs and Islands with the city centre. We arrive at the city-s new Britomart station on the Northern Explorer train from Wellington, having enjoyed a full day travelling through some the finest scenery North Island has to offer. This video was filmed over several trips to New Zealand between 2005 and 2019, many changes took place to the city-s rail system over that period, culminating in an electrified suburban network with brand new trains fit for a modern city in the 21st century

I could have done a running commentary on your video. Not only did I grow up in Akl, but as a tour driver, revisited often. But more than that, there-s the personal touch. Such as the floating crane at the maritime museum. I-m the last person to have driven her under steam before her boilers were decommissioned. She was finally scraped last year at the Devonport navel yard.

sky tower in sydney australia it has what is called centre point tower i have been up there great views
