Welcome to the Zurich Lowlands region, more specifically to Blach. We're aboard the S36 service headed for Waldshut, a small city in Germany, very close to the Swiss border. This line connects Blach with smaller and bigger villages in mostly remote areas, while always being very close to the German border. Not only is it important to the people living alongside the tracks, but it is also a valuable link to Waldshut, where many people go shopping for groceries. Not today though, since it is Sunday. Also, due to the current situation you most definitely have heard of, many passengers stay at home and avoid unnecessary travel. It's a very special situation for us aswell, seeing all those stations being extremely empty. But don't let that ruin the cab ride experience, instead, enjoy the calm and quiet landscape Locomotive/EMU: Stadler GTW (RABe 526) Train stops at Blach Eglisau Zweidlen Kaiserstuhl Rmikon Mellikon Rekingen Bad Zurzach Rietheim Koblenz Dorf Koblenz Waldshut (Germany)

Hello What do you think of German signalling system and of their famous PZB cab signalling? Is it more easy for you to use ZUB or PZB? And one more question: did you ever have a situation that emergency brakes were applied because you didn't acknowledge the signal in time? Great video, cheers from Poland

At 17: 40 the train passes a goods car on the dead end of a siding, and half a km further the siding ends at another dead end. They can roll that goods car back and forth but there is no connection to the main line, or at least that's what it seems to be. Thanks anyway for your videos, I enjoy them all.

Thanks for all your videos, I really enjoy them all. I have a question regarding the last part of this video. Why is such a low speed limit between Koblenz and waldshut? tracks are in perfect shape, and there are no track changes that require speed limits after leaving Koblenz station. Thanks

Very low income day for the railway. But the timetable Is king. With an addition of a set of turnouts to the right on the station approach to Waldshut and a Stadler Hybrid loco you could get the cement work coal empties through to Basel Bad.

Yes indeed, the ghostly atmosphere is special - thanks for continuing to upload - is the catenary installed to Swiss norms all the way to Waldshut or does it change at the border? \m/

Perfect weather, beautiful countryside and a perfect video. For 40 mins completely forget we are in a lockdown. Locking forward for the next video.
