First, I was originally going to post this video yesterday on Amtrak's 41st anniversary, marking the end of their 41st year. However, production was delayed so here it is, one day late. Now on to the video: Over the course of the last year, I was able to capture all of the Amtrak 40th Anniversary special equipment. In this video, you will see all 4 of the Anniversary/Heritage units painted in special schemes. You will also see some still images of the Exhibit train in downtown San Diego. The only thing not included is the great dome Ocean View', which can be seen in my previous uploaded video of Santa Fe 3751 on an excursion to San Bernardino. Featured Equipment: P42DC 156 - Phase I unit: PRS Excursion to Bakersfield P42DC 66 - Phase II unit: Sunset Limited Train 2 P42DC 145 - Phase III unit: Sunset Limited Train 1 P42DC 184 - Phase IV unit: Coast Starlight Train 14 (trailing) F40PH 406 (NPCU with HEP) - Phase 3 P40DC 822 - Phase 3 As always, enjoy! Post any comments or questions you may have. Thanks!

You've seen all 6 Amtrak Heritage units. And I just saw my first one 2 days ago. It was 406 with the exhibit train sitting in Boston South Station yards, it was heading to New Brunswick, Maine the next day. Funny part was I was on a field trip, and caught it out of the corner of eye.

How well you chose the sequences and photos. Great video and the shots of San Diego station remind me of my visits. Is the huge and impressive model of an air craft carrier still on display?

The P40 and 42s are actually designed off the F40PHs and yes it is a true Shame to not have the F40s Around, Those Locomotives were awesome.
