Nice video Mike. I love seeing freight trains and every year, I go down to San Diego for a weekend. This year, I am going on Thanksgiving weekend and I hope to see some freights. I hope to meet you some day so if you are ever coming up around Chatsworth or have a chance to go to any of the stations down there around when I'm going, let me know. Anyway once again great video. -

As kids, living in Encinitas (late 60's - early 70's, we would chuck oranges from trees that were along PCH (at the time) at the trains that went by. We did this for years and never got busted, those were different times-
Can't begin to tell you how many times we nailed the Locomotive!

have you ever notice that there are manifest freight trains and auto carrier freights using this line, but not inter modal freight trains? I wonder if the tunnels and overpasses on this line are too low and small for double stack cars.

Man, how do you catch these freight trains during the day time? I usually catch them at night but would be nice to see some during the day. You got a schedule on them or something, or is it just being at the right place, right time?

I wish BNSF would let the H2 GEVOS escape California they are getting ugly with all the cali-taggers and the cali-sun fading.
