Hey Mike, this is my favorite HD video of this year. I like how you kept the Mike Armstrong 2019 logo durring the entire video and the end of the video, how you divided The Monticello Railway Museum in 2 parts, the Southern Rail Productions photo freight special from your in May of 2018 from your Southern Railway Steam Freight Train video from last year and a regular old passenger train both pulled by Southern 401, and you said Thanks For Watching Though I don't know why the clip you chose for the end was The Rio Grande Scenic Railroad from your Rio Grande Scenic Steam Special August 26th 2010 and your Colorado Summer Tourist Trains video. The Railroads in Colorado here are The Georgetown Loop Railroad and Cripple Creek And Victor Railroad. I didn't say Cumbres And Toltec Scenic Railroad because it's in New Mexico, even though it goes through Colorado.

Georgetown Loop Railroad. Hmm. I think the West Side Lumber Co. Shay-Type locomotive #12 used to run on that railroad (or still is running on it today. In fact, I remember a segment like that in one of the Great American Train Rides VHS tapes. I even remember a landmark of this railroad called the Devil's Gate Viaduct.

Lovely footage in wonderful countryside Mike. I liked the little vertical boilered loco and the vintage station wagon and pickup truck, well positioned for maximum effect. Were some of the clips part of photo shoots? Very enjoyable viewing, thanks and best wishes from Ken

I was trying to figure out why one train looked so familiar, then I read thr side of the train. I was like, That's why I recognize it, because I rode on it It was the Georgetown Loop train. Very fond memories. Highly recommend, it's in Georgetown, Colorado, America.

3415 really looks like it needs an opportunity to stretch its legs. With drivers that big, it could easily get up to 60 MPH if given the right track conditions. Does the Abilene & Smoky Valley have a connection to the rest of the rail network or is it land locked?

Hey Mike, I've been to the Danbury Railroad Museum in Connecticut, where I've seen a Metro North P32AC-DM locomotive. That was the first time I've ever seen a Dual Mode locomotive. You mentioned that in the Types of Locomotives episode of Train Talk.

Ive never been to the Monticello Railway Museum, but I heard it is very nice and pleasant to visit. Have you considered going back to the Illinois Railway Museum? Both Frisco 1630 and J. Neils Lumber Co. Shay 5 are back in operating condition.
