All aboard for one last video in 2018! As the year draws to a close, it is time once again for the annual Year of Trains in Review video. 2018 was another exciting year and I was once again able to see trains running in several different parts of the country. We'll look at some of the highlights, starting in January and running all the way through the end of November. Thanks for making 2018 another memorable year! -YEAR UPDATE VIDEO- As many of you probably know, I typically post a year update and Q&A video in the first month of the new year. Due to travel plans, I will be gone over the normal period that I edit the year update video so if you have any questions for the Q&A, please get them to me by New Years Day. Thanks and have a happy 2019, everyone!

Very nice video Mike. At 17: 12, a delivery train of Metrolink F125s. That-s the weirdest delivery train that I have ever seen usually I-ve seen delivery trains like SEPTA-s ACS-64 MARC-s SC-44 and brightline trainsets being delivered in a power move kind of way. I-ve also seen deliveries being done on Amtrak long distance trains. But I-ve never seen a delivery train with the new locomotives in between freight cars on freight trains.

You make some very inspiring videos! I have to admit I don't watch a lot of train videos because I am usually out taking my own and editing them but wow thanks for the effort you do because you get a lot of great shots and locations! Happy New Year, can't wait to see what 2019 has in store.

Also side note I took my first trip on brightline on Wednesday. It was a cool game experience. The ride was smooth, the train was fast and the seats were very comfortable. In fact they were the most comfortable seats on a train. I highly recommend it.

Best 19 minutes of my life! I-m so happy you uploaded this today since it-s my birthday! I would ask about the shots you took but there are just so many! I-d like to point out at 13: 15 that-s the same SEAPAS I caught at Old Town Tacoma.

Never forget at the beginning of the year when CDTX 2052 & 2051 came to rescue the LA to San Luis Line. Or when the Amtrak collided with the CSX Head on, or when Metra bought our Surfliner kiddies.

Can you do Amtrak Eastern Long Distance Trains please? I saw the western half of the country already. Is Amtrak Lake Shore Limited considered as a Short distance train from Chicago to New York?
