RAW VEGAN RECIPE: Creamy DATORADE Najeeb: +Freelee the Banana Girl 20-30 medjool dates is 270-405 grams of sugar and 1100-1650 calories. I love dates too, been eating them for over 3 decades, but isn't that a bit too much sugar? And the calories? That provides over half and up to 80% of the calories you consume in a day. Would appreciate a response! Thanks.
P. S. I am calculating on the basis of 13. 5 grams sugar/date, which is a medium medjool. The bigger medjools have 16 g/date. So 30 medjools could be as much as 480 g sugar, that's HALF A KILO of sugar as a drink!

Hi Freelee, what's chocmint herb? I could Google this I realise. But I prefer it from your mouth xo. Also, is it highly important to use Medjool dates do you think? I couldn't afford the organic box at all (boooo, so settled on packets of non-organic (boooo) pitted dates from Coles/Woolies. I hope this will suffice? Oh and can I add peppermint drops to it or does that taste like shit? Thanks a bunch of parsley: )

I know this is an old video, but I have to say this recipe basically changed my life and i've been making it for months now. I often put frozen banana in it too and sometimes some plant milk to thicken it just a bit more. I will also occasionally add carob powder. I love this!

I have a question. Say im making this with a Vitamix, high speed. It starts warming up and by the time youre done its more like tea. Do you just drink it like that or refridgerate it? We always have dates at home, so i might just start drinking this every mornig now! Xx

Just made this for the first time after going out on a jog. I had the dates soaking until I came back from my run, it's so sweet and delicious and frothy! I used coconut water though, then whatever space was left in my jug I just filled it up with filtered water.

I've been vegan for 10 months & I have NEVER had a date in my entire life! I've just never seen them in the stores or anything. but I've been looking around recently because I really want to try them. they seem to be a stable for many vegans.

Hey freelee! Love your videos! Where do you buy your dates? Online? I've been on bard valley website and I only saw small containers. I would really appreciate it if you could send a link where you get them, so I can get a big box! thanks!

I just made your recipe but I only use two dates and a little bit of water just to see if I liked it and then I strained it with a coffee filter and then it turned like a light brown water that tastes delicious filter the pulp it's so good
