Personally I struggled not eating cheese, ect. It did suck but I do not live in a city with alot of vegan options so I haven't had any fake cheese, Only fake meat I have had was quinoa burgers twice. Honestly I am used to not eating meat or dairy now. I would like to try so fake cheese at some point because I loved cheese but I love this life style. And the junk food vegans I have met in forums seem unhealthy. One girl said after eating a vegan chili cheese dog she got sick like she did eating the animal product ones so It seems less healthy to me. But they exist to help your transition why knock it.

Hey Freelee, I was wondering if you have any tips to be healthy and get over eating disorders without going vegan? It's not that I'm against going vegan or anything of the sort, but just that I'm still a high school student and I still live with my parents who won't let me go vegan because it's too much of a hassle for them to cook me different meals all the time (which is reasonable, of course. I definitely want to become vegan once I move out, but I was wondering if there's anything I can do to help myself now? Thanks

I'm trying to eat more and more raw fruits and veggies. I'm on my first week of being vegan (have been a vegetarian for 3 years) and I'm slowly converting. So far, it feels amazing and I even woke up at 4am this morning to go on a 2 hour bike ride. I'm planning to keep the bike morning thing in my routine because it feels amazing and I have a much bigger appetite thanks to that.
Thank you for educating me on veganism and all that, it really means a lot.

I always hear people say Don't eat within two hours of sleeping because it's all stored as fat. How long should I give my body to digest before I sleep? And are there any foods I should avoid before sleep? (I am vegan)
P. S. I've been vegan for three months now and you have been my number one motivator! You and durian are so brutally honest I love you guys!

i went off of gluten for almost 4 months (while still eating meat and dairy) but i honestly felt so amazing. The first day back on gluten was so terrible. now eating vegan i feel great until i eat a cooked meal with gluten. im pretty sure i am allergic to gluten. i also have a few diseases/disorders that go along with gluten intolerance

All the brands of makeup you showed ethically sourced, and untested on animals? Also need a good mascara brand.
Thanks Freelee I'm so happy you share your wealth of knowledge with everyone. I was just looking into vegan safe make up. I haven't worn makeup in over a year because of sensitive skin issues.

I find that most gluten free pastas and bread is just filled with protein instead, I have exocrine pancreatic insufficiency and have trouble digesting protein and fats, and I can't digest gluten free pasta due to the high protein levels.
