It seems like all of your reasons for being vegan is due to the meat industry corporations. I agree. Just as grains, veggie's, nut and fruit have a life cycle, so do animals. Just as there is a harvest for grains veggie's nuts and fruits at the peak of their life cycle, there is also a harvest of animals. Animals raised on a permaculture farm benefit the land by grazing it and fertilizing the soil have a symbiotic relationship with the land that benefit the earth and people. Animals can be harvested humanely where there is no suffering. (see the great American farm tour) There are farming practices for raising -vegan food- that do damage the environment just as bad as the meat industry corporations. Clear cutting forests for palm oil, oranges, apples grown in orchards instead of food forests, is also not natural and destroys the environment, not to mention the trucking needed for you to get the cacao you just ate. What we need to demand of ourselves is to raise what we eat, so the food industry doesn't grow rich off of their mass farming techniques, but then people would have little leasure time to go on vacations and entertain themselves because they would be so busy raising their own food.

I am not a vegan or vegetarian. I will eat meat, I do believe in eat what you kill and kill what you eat. Don't do it for sport. I have cut out red meat, the meat that I am mainly eating is chicken. I do eat burgers and will continue to eat burgers. I am substituting beef and pork with vegetarian type of products. They do have vegetarian sausage, bacon cheese, chicken and crumbles. I did stop drinking dairy milk, and drink almond or soy milk.
Carl's Jr, has a veggie burger, called beyond meat.
They do have vegetarian burgers that taste just like the real thing, trust me on this because I can't taste the difference.
Make a cookbook using the meat alternatives.

Shit is fertilizer live stock are concentrated so we dont have to hunt for our meat. The whole animal is used. I had a heart attack at 52 the sergon said it was i consummed to much salt. Dont always belive the peta people. ya can only grow fresh prroduce a few months out of the year. Ya can grow meat 24 7 cats dogs horses are eaten even today. Is a egg a animal. You will find a timee when you bodie wants meat if ya dont like meat why eat fake hot dogs and hambergers. should call it what it is vegitubes and smashed vegi patties. Why dont vegans have a proplem eating fish and eggs, last time i, looked they had blood in them. We all need protein

You guys inspire me to cook a fat juicy steak and whole chicken roasted sounds great. FyI animals and plants are both living things. And if you eat animals and veggies you get the best of both worlds. And regardless if we stop eating meat we would still have to pay those taxes. Hell ya we would stop the neighbor because most people don't eat dogs that simple. And last of all vegans dont make a difference millions still eat meat, I can become vegan today and im sure i will live my whole life still watching people eat meat.

While I was admiring that amazing tye dye shirt Nicole was wearing I was thinking about the weekly click bait on the new Yurt series and wondering when we'd be seeing that amazing shirt again. You two look like you click, and your communication is the key to the best romances and unions. And BTW, I always hang my chickens up side down to relax them before I cut their heads off to prepare them to eat. So, I'm not torturing them, its swift and over in a second when the axe falls.

So I'm not being negative just trying to wrap my mind around this. So I have a question? Centuries ago we didn't have a means of growing crops and our bodies survived just fine I'd say. So the question is, I understand that plants give some protein but how can being vegan be so much better for the body and Earth?
For myself I am starting a homestead and free ranging my animals on my property. Living off the land instead of the chemical injected animals. Idk just my thoughts. Any thoughts out there?

So vegans don't eat meat because animals are killed for human consumption. What do you think happens when farm land is cleared? Birds nest are destroyed, rodents are displaced and if you want to be really technical millions of bugs are killed to clear farm land to grow vegetables and fruit.
Being a vegan is just a way to be morally superior. It's virtue signaling of the highest order.

In the U. S. 33% of the land is set for agriculture which uses 50 trillion gallons of water a year. I'll need to find my research paper to see what percent of agriculture is used for animal feed, but it's a huge number. Think about the energy used to till 33% of the topsoil. (Not that all 33% is tilled every year, but that would be the max) Still, yikes.
