Relatives from Northern Maine and New Brunswick, Canada spilled blood on those beaches. Being French speaking they were used heavily in the fight to free France. Relative were also paratrooper with the Airborne and one was a pilot downed. Some of the names are Pelletier, Laplante, Charette, Levesque, Ayotte and many more. That barb wire is wartime remains. The waters of those beaches were blood red during the invasion. The American/ Canadian cemeteries are the resting places if so many. Hope you said a prayer for the fallen, - All gave some, Some gave all-

I read a bit farther on the comments. so glad I did. hey Daffy Duck. you're happy they don't do history lessons. that's good because one just passed right over your head. did you think the barbed wire was decoration. ugh, sad indeed. And Jake and Nicole. you missed it too. guess you need your guides to explain things to you. And I'm pretty sure those Japanese vegetables aren't all Japanese, but it sounds cool, right. To Stanley Babiuk, Robert Little. thank you for remembering the lives, sacrifices that were made that day. My father lost friends that day.

Barbed wire left from the war because it's a memorial site. how many others did you dummies see in bathing suits picnicking on the beach. what a couple of idiots. our education system is a big FAIL! When eating and/or drinking with your husband, never serve yourself first! He may not tell you nothing about it to avoid conflicts. However, if you wish a long term happy marriage, always put him first in everything you do. It was not polite to serve yourself first the tea.
