What type of garlic did you grow? The cloves are so much larger than those I am able to buy. I want to start growing some of the staple vegetables we use in cooking and baking. I'm going to have to figure out how to build raised garden beds that will have to be filled with rocks, sand and soil that doesn't come from our property as the soil and the ground water are still contaminated with E-COLI from the hundreds of cattle who were on the pasture behind our property for many decades and actually over a hundred years now since they were there before our house was built in 1939. They have been gone for the last 20+ years because the farmer relocated them shortly after we purchased our property in 2003. He wasn't able to sell the pasture land to another farmer because we own the creek at the back of the property and he had an agreement with the previous owners that allowed him to access the water for his cattle. He never asked us about it or if we might sell it to him so it's been empty for a good 18-19 years now.

Thanks for sharing beautiful views and delicious bread enjoy. interesting. there is also an avocado on the other table they are rooting an avocado in the summer to plant it in the second place?
A house in a snowy place should preferably not have a triangular roof so that ice does not fall on the head preferably angled to one side if it is possible. to heat a house made of iron it is advisable to attach the chimney of the stove to the side of a container which will heat the container

Hey Jack and Nicolle on your sailboat your Stern have you ever figured out what would happen if you went over when you're sailing how could you get back on that boat because that gunnel is very high on the stern of your boat that's me I thought in your mind I would suggest making some type of sugar scoop out of fiberglass the attached to use that boat so you can get back on really easily just a thought the boat looks good I like the new solar Arch

Consider taking the seawater from an area of the boat not directly next to the running motor. Not for physical safety, but for the quality of the water near the running motor. Two stroke motors can emit 25-30% of their unburned gas and oil mixture into the water. In contrast, four-stroke motors emit 97% less air and water pollution than old two-stroke motors.

My Dad was a very skilled person, some say genius. Well, anyway, Mom caught a New England flatfish. We would have it for lunch, so the cleaning board came, and Dad said Sonny watch this. He filleted one side, flipped it over, and filleted the other side. Then he took the still intact remains, placed it in the water, and it swam away. Much to my amazement.

If you guys got an actual sawmill, your speed and capacity would increase so considerably and your back would get less wear and tear. I'd love to see what you guys could accomplish with the forest you have that needs thinning & the decrease on time it would take per log to acheive what you want.

It is really a sign of extreme stubbornness not to get a mill to work with wood to your site. When it wasn't at all accessible it made sense but now that you got containers there it is just incomprehensible that you still play that little chainsaw when a mill would make you 50x more efficient.

I have been a bread baker for over 40 years and can truly say Nicolle is an amazing bread maker. Brick oven baking is an art onto itself and Nicolle has mastered beautifully baked breads in that oven. I don't get impressed easily but you know bread and it shows.

Unless a person has Celiacs disease they should all KNOW how to make at least simple bread. I was taught as soon as my eyes could look over the counter, Mormon Grandma taught us all. Oh I bet that is some fantastic bread. !

Jake, if you leave salt in the steel utensil, it will damage and cut open the bottom base of your container you use to boil salt water. Keeping it for 3 days would damage your stainless steel metalic vessel

Great video guys! Thought you would be putting your time on building the container house before winter?
Wish I had parents like you both. I never got anything from my parents, teached me nothing

Thank you for the details about the bears. I knew they climbed trees - but I had NO idea they could go so high. and stay that LONG. That was actually very informative. Good info.
